Welcome to my slice of the internet.
I am an engineer with a B.S. (2010) and M.S. (2012) in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, working in System Engineering Research and Development at a biotechnology company in Austin, TX.
My current focus is on system design and testing of thermal, mechanical and fluidic subsystems. My main motivation as an engineer is to incorporate experimental data and simulation to drive designs that increase process efficiency and system reliability. I design in Solidworks and utilize Solidworks Simulation packages.
My belief is that everyone has an innovative technical spirit (some just need a little more positive reinforcement!). I am passionate about sharing my interest in engineering and contemplating potential technical solutions to world challenges.
When I am not working, I enjoy staying active, traveling and volunteering for STEM outreach programs.
